manual:showroom

Showroom

The *showroom is the public face for cars your team markets for sale — photos, specification, enquiry path, and optional spec PDF*.

Public visitor experience

- Browse listings at /en/showroom. - Open a car for gallery, narrative, and specification bullets. - Use *enquire* or contact paths as configured on the listing.

Preparing a listing (team admin)

From *Admin → Showroom (or the car’s sales* section in car management):

1. Set lifecycle so the car is eligible for showroom (your programme’s rules). 2. Complete *sales listing fields*:

  1. Brand and model lines for the headline
  2. Chassis display text
  3. Introduction paragraphs and spec bullets
  4. Listing and hero images (upload or URL)
  5. Gallery images
  6. YouTube video ID if used
  7. URL *slug* for the public page

3. *Preview* the public page before announcing. 4. When sold, set lifecycle to *Sold* so the car moves to archive on the public site while the operational record remains in car management.

Spec PDF

Visitors may download a *spec sheet PDF* generated from the same fields. Keep bullets factual and aligned with any legal disclaimers your team requires.

Who can edit

Showroom admin access is limited to users with showroom rights on the team or super-admin. Marketing text should be reviewed before publish — the platform does not verify claims about race history or provenance.
